The Gymnasium Neustadt is subdivided into five parts and it has its centre in the entrance-hall. Here is the meeting point for excursions for e.g. and all important dates are written on the black board. All corridors are connected to the entrance-hall, like the corridor for the classes 5-10, which is subdivided in its own three parts (classes 5-6; classes 7-8; classes 9-10). They are connected with a long passage. In this passage is the dayroom for the younger pupils and a shop, where the caretaker of our school is selling rolls and drinks every brake. The passage ends at the gym. The new gym is an own building and stands next to the old one. The entrance-hall leads into the teachers-corridor, too . These two corridors enclose the big school ground and the sports facilities. The teachers corridor ends at a building with two storeys and a cellar. In this cellar is the art-room, in the first storey the assembly-hall and in the second the computer-room and the language-laboratory. You can reach the science-building (biology, physics, chemistry) by stairs out of the entrance-hall. In the first floor is, which leads to the corridor for the older pupils (classes 11- 13), is another biology-room, one classroom, a mathematic-room and a sickness-room. The corridor for older pupils looks like an „U" around the „Atrium". Altogether there are 12 classrooms and the office for the leader of this corridor. Next to it is the school ground for smokers (5a). For all the younger pupils, who are smoking, the bus station which is lying in front of the school is a famous meeting-point.
